Awesome news, you guys!
The wonderful CityKids Consignment is making a comeback for a big Fall/Winter sale on September 13 and 14 at Neumann-Goretti High in South Philly. The sale basically grew out of the South Philly Parents Resource Center, which aims to support moms and dads in Philly in a multitude of ways — shopping being one of them. We’re talking baby and kids’ clothes up to size 12, toys, gear, maternity and nursing clothes, and more! All in all, it’s a great idea, a great sale, and there’s free parking and free entry.
But we tell you this now not just to mark your calendar — though you should do that — but also because they just opened up registration for potential consignors. Got things to sell? (Who doesn’t?) You can sign up to be a consignor anytime before September 8 … but if you register before August 22, then you’ll get a free seller’s kit of consignor must-haves (i.e. card stock, safety pins, hangers and baggies). And not for nothing, you’ll get your extra stuff out of the house that much faster.
You can read about the details of consigning and exactly what to do and how to register right here: It’s easy. And yes, you do make some money from what you sell. (We told you it was awesome!)
You’re going to want to also check out the very helpful page of FAQs, covering topics like how much you get if you sell, why you should consider volunteering (hint: more cash for you!) and how, exactly, you go about consigning your stuff. It’s all there, but If you have any more specific questions, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Go forth and register!
