Taking a yoga class with your little baby may just be the best use of your new mom time: You get a strength-building workout, you don’t need a babysitter, you unwind and maybe even meet new friends. Here, some news worth knowing about.

Mamas Wellness Joint now has Saturday mom-and-baby yoga classes. (Shout-out to Wee pal and Be Well Philly editor Emily Leaman for a blog post that inspired the new weekend schedule.)

Dig Yoga, in Queen Village, just launched “The Playroom” earlier this month. They’ve got supervised childcare while you get your sweat and stretch on. It’s $10 for drop-in, plus $5 for each additional child. Classes are Fridays and Sundays. Email wesleyblades@gmail.com with any questions.

Focus Fitness Main Line now has an all-levels Mommy and Me yoga class (for pre-crawlers) that focuses on strengthening the core and relieving anxiety. On the first day of class you’ll get a new mom swag bag, too.
