Genius! This new search engine, called Kiddle, blocks out all the very-kid-unfriendly stuff that Google pulls up. (If you’ve ever Googled “Video Monkeys on Bed” you know what I’m talking about.)

Here’s the surprising way parents reacted when an elementary school in NY decided to do away with homework.

A bunch of noteworthy events: Arthur will be at the Elmwood Zoo on the 13th, The Schuylkill Center has a fun mushroom tour (and entertainment) on the 12th, there’s a sweet (and free) Sister Cities Girlchoir concert for a good cause on the 12th.
