Ah, springtime. That time of year where a mother feels the irresistible urge to dress her children in pastels, plop them down amidst the wildflowers, and capture some magical family moments on film.
Capturing magical family moments (or moments that look magical on film, anyway) is a particular specialty of photographer Elanna Sesink-Clee, the owner and sole photographer of Elanna D Photography. (In fact, she has a series of spring mini-sessions coming up in Philly on May 28th — 30 minutes, $175, 10 edited photos.) Her work is bright and natural — no stiff, overly posed family shots, just lots of life and personality.
Family portraits aren’t Elanna’s only focus: She is also a maternity and children’s photographer, and she has a special gift for working with little ones. (Perhaps because she’s also a professional nanny!) “There’s nothing more rewarding than celebrating new life and the innocence of children with families,” she says. “And I love the art and concentration of creating special newborn sessions.”
The photos (below!) speak for themselves, no?
