The mama: Stephanie Cleck is the founder and CEO of Concihairge, the traveling salon that’s been popular on the Main Line for roughly a year and a half now. (Yes, traveling! She brings the highlights, cutting, styling, blowouts to your house — and/or your family. And the big news here is that as of May, she’s expanding to Center City!!) A Memphis native, Stephanie lived in Alexandria, Virginia before settling in Philly just a little over three years ago, and now she’s settled in West Chester with her husband and three kids, Jaymeson, who’s 8, Leighton, who’s 6, and Holland, who’s 4.

Best way to spend a Saturday afternoon as a family: We love to get our very active crew outdoors. Whether it be for a local hike or paddle-boarding or just hanging around our property watching them climb trees, as long as we’re outdoors and together, we are happy.

Special find: We stumbled upon The Creamery in Kennett Square last summer and fell in love with all it had to offer. Jenga, live music, food trucks, and adult beverages is perfection in our book.

Holiday tradition: The eve before school starts back we have a “Toast & Roast” with our neighbors. The adults toast surviving the summer with kids out of school and the kids roast marshmallows in excitement for another school year.

Favorite fast massage or spa treatment or some treat for you: I may be a bit biased but I love reserving an appointment for one of my stylists to give me a fresh blowout. There is something luxurious about being in your own home while achieving gorgeous locks that last a few days.

Pro or person you can’t live without: There are too many to mention because we are truly surrounded by a village of amazing people. Just to name a few – our kids’ piano teacher, who comes to the house; the kindest woman who sees my messy house and makes it clean again; our client coordinator who answers so many of our emails so that I can focus more time on my children. And my Mom is pretty incredible – always willing to help with the kids.

Indulgence you can’t live without: I love a good spray tan!

Place for baby/children’s gifts: I love to support local business as much as possible. I adore Pucci Manuli in Ardmore … I could seriously get lost in there for hours.

Favorite children’s book right now: In My Heart: A Book of Feelings by Jo Witek. Sweetest little book that makes so much sense to people of all ages.

Favorite outdoorsy thing to do with kids: We love to take them paddle boarding at Marsh Creek State Park.

Any mom’s groups you love? I joined a group of women entrepreneurs called Bizzy Mamas upon the re-branding of Concihairge. It is the greatest group of cheerleaders I have ever met in my life. They cheer each other on thru parenting wins, marriage woes, and the roller coaster ride of owning your own business. They’re the best!

Favorite toy or kid entertainment in your house right now: The sunshine and trees in my yard.

One thing you wish Philly/burbs had that it doesn’t: I do miss the hospitality of the South. While people here are friendly, it’s not the same.

Hardest part of raising kids here: Not having our family here.

Best part of raising kids here: Location, location, location. Day trips to NYC or D.C., skiing in Poconos, heading to the shore for a weekend. We love that we can explore so many different areas with the kids.
