There are so many reasons to love the Philly Art Center. (To wit:The after-school programs with pick-up, the snow-day camps, the drop-in classes, the drop-off classes ….) Next weekend, they’re giving us another reason (maybe the best reason?) to adore them: Both city locations of Philly Art Center (that’s Fairmount and Queen Village) are hosting date-night art extravaganzas on Saturday, November 18 from 6 to 9 p.m.
The logistics are simple: You drop your kids off (four years and up) for a night of pizza-partying and art-making while you … well, while you do anything you want. (Dinner? Drinks? Enjoying the peace of a quiet home? The world is your kid-free oyster.) It’s a very affordable $25 per kid, and space is limited, so they ask that you pre-register. Don’t dawdle — for obvious reasons, this one is a popular event.
You can read more about date night and register here. Now go forth and enjoy, y’all!
