We have some exciting news for parents, for foodies, for parents of foodies: FOX’s hit culinary cooking competition MasterChef Junior is coming to Philly on January 20, looking for talented home cooks, 8-13 years old, to appear on the next season of #MasterChefJunior. Any kiddos who love to cook, who want to be the next Marc Vetri or Michael Solomonov (or, yes, Gordon Ramsay!) can audition for the show. The casting call is January 20th at Center City’s DoubleTree Hotel on South Broad Street, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A little background for the uninitiated: MasterChef Junior features the most talented junior chefs in the country competing in a series of (amazing) cooking challenges for the famed Chef Gordon Ramsay. It’s highly entertaining to watch and (as one might imagine) an unbelievable opportunity for kids. (Also! Some famous faces have stopped by the MasterChef kitchen, including Martha Stewart and the Muppets, who were guest judges!) The winning young chef takes home a trophy and the title of MasterChef Junior.
